Pear and Cinnamon Buns

These are some buttery sweet buns made with brown sugar and flavoured with cinnamon and a little cardamom. They are decorated with icing and pear pieces.

The buns are very soft and tender and the flavour is spicy and rich. They weren't quite as intended as I wanted to put the pear pieces in the buns so it bakes around them. They however fell out when they rose in the oven and so I put fresh pieces on top. This was better than my first plan and they are delicious.
