Orange and Whisky Shortbread

This is an orange flavoured shortbread round filled and topped with a curd type filling of whisky flavoured macerated orange slices.

The biscuit at the edges is crisp and short with the centre being a little softer than I expected. The flavour and filling are nonetheless delicious.
