Lime and Pecan Whoopie Pies

These are my cakes to celebrate American Independence Day. They are some chocolate and lime whoopie pies filled with lime cream cheese and rolled in chopped pecans.

The cake is soft and slightly chewy with a great lime flavour. The cream cheese filling is sweet and tasty and the pecans add a welcome crunch.
