Rum and Walnut Brownies



I don't think you can have a brownie without feeling a little 'naughty', so to make the most of this I added a kick of rum along with the walnuts in these.

They look very undercooked upon first glance and, to some, they may be. However there is a slight firmness to the cake but still with a good level of squidginess. I would say perhaps the perfect balance. The walnuts add a lovely crunch. The rum comes through in the background and elevates the flavour of the chocolate, making the brownies richer and more indulgent.
