Honey Creme Caramel
This is a recipe I have written to make the best of a jar of absolutely delicious Hampshire Honey produced by Gill Pearson. It is a creme caramel made with a honey caramel and with a little honey in the custard. It is sprinkled with walnuts to decorate.
This dessert really does justice to a wonderful homemade product. The honey flavour is strong, rich and sweet. I think perhaps a little more could have been added to the custard, or a dash more sugar, but other than that this is pretty much perfection. It is smooth, creamy, and absolutely delicious.
