Almond Heart Macarons

These are some heart shape macarons for Mother's Day. They are almond flavour filled with whipped cream.

They are crisp on the outside and chewy in the middle. The flavour is delicious, and they look great. They aren't quite perfect but for the first time of piping heart macarons they weren't too bad! The feet weren't great but I think I may have over mixed it a little to get the pink evenly distributed. The almond was very fine and so the texture great.
