Banana and Pecan Dobos Torte





This is my version of a dobos torte cake of 8 sponge layers with caramel buttercream topped with chopped pecan nuts and banana chips.

The cake is light and this, creating beautiful layers inside. The buttercream is sweet and perfect for the fairly plain sponge. I am very happy with the decoration, aside from not saving enough buttercream for a thicker layer on the outside of the cake. I am very happy nonetheless.
