Afternoon Tea
This is my afternoon tea. It is completely homemade comprising of savouries of cheddar and sundried tomato oatcakes, cucumber and cream cheese oatcakes, egg mayonnaise and cress open sandwiches, ham and tomato open sandwiches, and roasted vegetable and feta cheese tartlets. The sweets were plain and fruit scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream, lemon curd meringues, orange blossom honey and pistachio madeleine cakes, and plum, cinnamon and hazelnut crumble cake.
The spread of treats was one of elegance with a variety of foods for all to enjoy. It was dressed to perfection and was greatly enjoyed. More than this, I absolutely loved preparing it all and the fantastic challenge!
