Orange Cream Macarons

I have made some macarons filled with orange buttercream.

These are the first successful batch of macarons. The foot was the right height and they have a shine. Despite the fact they were baked a little hot and the intended peppermint flavour was non existent due to very old extract, they are great. A few areas of improvement are needed  to make them perfect, other than that this is a very happy moment.
