Greek Pastries - Almond and Honey Croissant, Raisin and Walnut Whirl, Apricot, Pistachio and Orange Blossom Pinwheel.
These are a greek take on the danish pastry. I have made a croissant filled with an almond frangipane, glazed with honey and topped with toasted flaked almonds. There is a whirl made of cinnamon cream, raisins and walnuts. And the final one is an apricot and pistachio pinwheel with an orange blossom cream.
I have to say, the layers on these are incredible, the best I have seen yet. They puffed up very well and are crisp and flaky with a soft cream centre and nut crunch. These are very good indeed.
