Vanilla and Brown Butter Pancakes



I have once again been using my 'expert' pancake recipe writing skills, making some buttermilk pancakes flavoured with browned butter and a little vanilla.

The browned butter and vanilla added to the batter are subtle but gives a lovely depth of flavour, and it makes these seem like slightly more sophisticated pancakes.They had just the right amount of bicarbonate of soda to give a light texture, and the buttermilk gives them a creamy taste. These just about live up to my highly scrutinising pancake palette.
