Buttermilk Bavarois with Rhubarb and Strawberry Jelly
This dessert is a buttermilk bavarois base topped with strawberry and rhubarb jelly.
I wasn't expecting this to turn out as well as it did when I was making it and almost lined the mould with clingfilm just in case. But I'm glad I didn't as a little dip into some hot water and it slid onto the plate, managing to keep its smooth exterior and distinct layers. The bavarois is smooth and creamy, and the jelly light and fruity, with the strawberry and rhubarb flavours being delicious.
