Brie Croissants



This bake is a combination of the two best things that come out of France, croissants and brie. They are simply homemade croissant dough filled with a chunk of brie.

My last attempt to make croissants resulted in some 'jam danishes' instead as they uncoiled and opened up. However these managed to (mostly) keep their shape. They are perfect texture, being light, crisp and flaky, and the cheese is rich and a delicious filling. I think these would be a perfect addition to any continential breakfast.
