Berry and Lavender Clafoutis
This spring time version of the French batter dessert is flavoured with lavender and orange zest and filled with blueberries and blackberries.
The batter is light and well baked, with a perfectly balanced lavender flavour. This works wonderfully with the sweet berries which baked to become almost jam-like and sticky around the edges. Clafoutis are simple desserts but the outcome is wonderful.
