Remembrance Poppy Petit Fours
These are some individual layer cakes comprising of a lemon and poppy seed sponge with lemon creme au berre, raspberry syrup, raspberry jam and topped with a raspberry.
The flavours of these are delicious and, considering the battering I have given them today, I think they look beautiful too. The intention was chocolate plastique decoration however this was a little soft so I resorted to a solitude raspberry on each and syrup which I think gives an elegant finish.
