Apple, Cinnamon, Maple and Pecan Cupcakes

I have made some apple and vanilla cakes topped with maple syrup buttercream, chopped pecans and a cinnamon biscuit.

The cakes of these were moist and light, with a delicious apple flavour. The buttercream is sweet and this compliments the spicy cinnamon biscuit well. These taste even better than I thought they would, and they turned out just as I imagined.
