Plum Macaroon Tarts



These are my alternatives to mince pies.They are some shortcrust pastry tarts filled with amaretti-infused plum jam and topped with macaroon mixture and flaked almonds.

The pastry was short and crisp and so was the top of the macaroon. They browned perfectly and the delicious almondy plum jam is just oozing up the edges. Delicious!
