Christmas Cake

This was my mum’s christmas present, a christmas cake. It is a rich brandy soaked fruit cake decorated with marzipan, sugarpaste and royal icing.

The cake is flavoursome and delicious. I am fairly pleased with the decoration on the basis I am not very good at sugarcraft. It is not too bad for the first ever christmas cake.
