Lemon Tart and Tuiles




I am still going with the regular baking so I created a Sunday evening dessert. This was a lemon tart top and some tuile biscuits.

The tart top itself was easy to make but the tuiles proved to be more of a challenge. Once I had established my baking tray was not non-stick after chiseling a biscuit from it, they began to cook so that I could actually shape them and serve them.

I think I learnt some good lessons when baking the tuiles and a future attempt would be much better from the start.
