Walnut and Olive Rye Bread





I decided my bread making is long overdue so I headed into the tricky modern world of rye flour. I flavoured my rye loaf with chopped walnuts and black olives.

This bake didn’t produce the most perfect rise but this can be worked on with perhaps leaving my flavouring out of the dough before the initial rise. But the flavours were great and the texture really wasn’t bad at all. I am pretty pleased.
