Pain au Raisin




This was an exciting venture into Danish Pastry dough. I made a traditional plain dough rolled with a filling of almond cream and raisins.

I was very pleased with how the dough turned out once baked. It was light and crispy. The almond flavour in the cream gives a unique level of interest. I am very pleased with this brave venture! There are some improvements that can still be made but I will definitely be giving this another go. I enjoyed this very much!
