Week 7, French Week Technical Bake
The french inspired technical bake are raspberry macarons. They are traditional macarons filled with a sweet raspberry jam.
The macaron batter took two attempts; a coloured version was ditched due to its consistency however, the second mix was stiff and exactly what I was aiming for. They piped well, baked with a crunch and are lightly filled just to give a subtle flavour. I am very happy.
