Eton Mess

Today’s dessert was a traditional British Eton Mess consisting of homemade meringue, whipped cream and strawberries.

I had great fun making the meringues. They are the best I have made as I could pipe them successfully and they were crunchy and gooey. I am not yet perfect, but one step closer. And in terms of compiling the pudding, I definitely don’t need any practice at making a mess!
