Week 2, Sweet Dough Showstopper Enriched Dough











My showstopper bake to finish week 2 was a festive stollen wreath filled with rum soaked fruit, almonds and marzipan. It is brushed with a lemon glaze and sprinkled with toasted flaked almonds to give it an appealing look.

This weekā€™s bake created some difficulties in finding somewhere to prove the dough in my rather cool house but after some perseverance I found the perfect conditions and the bake was a success. It has turned out to not only look appealing but taste great too! I think I have officially mastered sweet dough.
