Week 1, Cakes Technical Bake




The technical bake is a fraisier cake made with a vanilla whisked sponge, vanilla creme patissiere and strawberries.

The sponge used the same technique as last week but in round form. I am enjoying the results of this as it produces a light and airy cake. The creme patissiere was the first attempt and was a success. It makes an elegant, yet tricky to serve, cake.
